News on international sales

We are no longer offering international shipping - and will, at least for the foreseeable future (coming year), only sell Lowbrow Apparel in Norway.

Sounds like a joke, I know. A couple of reasons:

  • Lowbrow is run by 1 person, as a side gig for fun. Spending all of the time working on the brand figuring out how to get things mailed using the Norwegian postal service for international orders, without charging a brutal amount of money, is not fun.

  • New EU rules that came into action 1st of July + the clusterfunk that Brexit is, makes shipping within the EU a headache of its own. I simply can’t be bothered to deal with all of that jazz. All of that stuff is cool if you are Zalando or Amazon, but alas, we’re not. We’ll keep an eye on how this develops over the next year if there is a normal way to get stuff shipped without breaking everyone’s neck with the customs, VAT, and all.

  • Prices for international shipping from Norway are insane at the moment, and because of the corona, things take a lot of time to ship. We are looking at other options than the Norwegian postal service, but other parcel services favor the big-time sellers as well, and we simply don’t want to scale this project ATM.

  • We sell most of our stuff to Norway anyway!

If any true believers really want to buy our stuff, please get in touch, and we’ll figure something out!
